Day 1 -BUCHAREST - TARGOVISTE
Arrival in Bucharest at Otopeni Airport. Meeting with english speaking guide and departure to Targoviste. Dinner and accomodation.

Day 2 -TARGOVISTE - CURTEA de ARGES - COZIA - SIBIU (248 km)
After breakfast, a city tour of Targoviste (visit the ruins of Chindia Clock Tower and Dealu Monastery). Departure to Sibiu; on the way, visit to Curtea de Arges (the first capital-town of Wallachia) and Cozia Monastery (built in 1386). Arrival in Sibiu. Dinner and acccommodation.

Day 3 - SIBIU - SIGHISOARA (85 km)
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Sibiu (The Old Fortress and The Bruckental Museum - the oldest and most valuable museum in Romania, founded by the governor of Transylvania, Samuel von Bruckental; Council Tower, Liars Bridge). Departure for Sighisoara. A short break to visit both St Margaret Church in Medias and the largest fortress-church in Transylvania, at Biertan. Arrival in Sighisoara. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 -SIGHISOARA
City tour of Sighisoara, the best preserved and most valuable inhabited medieval citadel in Romania and Eastern Europe ("Vlad Dracul" House, The Clock Tower). Drive to Campulung Moldovenesc, through Targu Mures. Stop in the Borgo Pass - 1200m elevation, at the "Dracula Castle" Hotel. Arrival in Campulung Moldovenesc; dinner and accommodation.

Day 5- CAMPULUNG MOLDOVENESC - PIATRA NEAMT (155 KM)
After breakfast in hotel, tour of the Moldavian Monasteries: Moldovita, Sucevita, Voronet (often called "The Sixtine Chapel of the East", painted in a unique shadow of blue, known all over the world as "Voronet blue") and Agapia (partially painted by N. Grigorescu). Visit the black pottery workshop at Marginea. Dinner and accommodation in Piatra Neamt.

Day 6 - PIATRA NEAMT - BRASOV (227 km)
Departure across the mountains, along Bistrita Valley, through the spectacular Bicaz Gorges (one of the most impressive monuments of nature in Romania), the Red Lake and Miercurea Ciuc. Before entering Brasov, a short visit to fortified churches in Prejmer (stronghold built by the Teutonic knights and Saxon villagers) and Harmam (medieval Saxon fortress). Dinner and accommodation.

Day 7 - BRASOV - BRAN
Sightseeing tour in the historical center of Brasov (former Kronstadt), including Black Church (that houses a priceless collection of Oriental rugs as well as a 4000 - pipe organ), then departure to Bran to visit "Bran Castle" (with its medieval atmosphere, this castle reminds you of the legend of Count Dracula). Dinner and accommodation in Brasov.

Day 8- BRASOV -BUCHAREST (160KM)
Departure for Bucharest. Stop in Sinaia to visit Sinaia Monastery and the fabulous Peles Castle (former summer residence of the Royal Family). Departure to Bucharest.

Day 1 - BUCHAREST - CURTEA DE ARGES - SIBIU (281KM)
Departure to Curtea de Arges (visit the Princely Court, built in middle of the 13th century and one of the most beautiful monuments of architecture in Valachia, Curtea de Arges Monastery. Drive along Olt Valley; stop to visit Cozia Monastery, built in the 14th century by Prince Mircea The Old. Arrival in Sibiu; dinner and accomodation.

Day 2 - SIBIU - SIGHISOARA (85 km)
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Sibiu (visit The Old Fortress and The Bruckenthal Museum - the oldest and the most valuable museum in Romania, founded by the governor of Transylvania, Samuel von Bruckental; Liars Bridge). Departure to Sighisoara. Dinner and accomodation

Day 3 - SIGHISOARA - BRASOV (117 km)
A sightseeing tour of Sighisoara, one of the most most complete and best preserved medieval citadel in Eastern Europe still inhabited (highlights: The Clock Tower, The Uphill Church, "The Covered Stairs","Vlad Dracul" House). Departure to Brasov. Dinner and accomodation. .

Day 4 - BRASOV - BRAN - BRASOV
City tour of Brasov (medieval Saxon fortress, also known as Kronnstadt), including The Black Church and the historical center of the city. Departure to Bran and visit the Bran Castle (with its medieval atmosphere will remind you of the legend of Count Dracula). Dinner and accomodation in Brasov.

Day 5 - BRASOV - SINAIA - BUCHAREST (161 km)
Drive to Sinaia to visit Sinaia Monastery and the fabulous Peles Castle (former summer residence of the Royal Family). Departure to Bucharest.

Day 2 - BRASOV
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Brasov: Church of St. Bartholomew (the oldest architectural monument in Brasov, built in the mid 13th century), The Black Church, The Old City Hall (built in 15th century and rebuilt in Baroque style in 18th century), The Merchants' House, The Fortress, The Weavers' Bastion. Dinner and accomodation.

Day 3 - BRAN
Breakfast. Departure to Bran where we will visit The Bran Castle (also known as Vlad Dracul Castle). It was built as a defense and custom point on the commercial route between Transylvania and Valachia. Due to it's medieval atmosphere, it has been associated with the famous legend of Dracula. Departure to Brasov. Dinner and accomodation.

Day 4 - POIANA BRASOV
After breakfast, departure to Poiana Brasov. Optional program: riding or horse-drown carriage trips in Poiana Brasov. This area is also suited for no-equestrian activities: walking, mountain-biking, fishing. Dinner and accomodation.

Day 5 - BRASOV - SIGHISOARA
Breakfast. Optional trip to Sighisoara, the only medieval fortress in Europe, still completely inhabited (and a UNESCO monument). The Fortress was built between the 14th and the 17th centuries, in a number of stages, and it still preserves nine defence towers (The Clock Tower is the most important). It is also supposed to be the birth-place of Dracula. Dinner and accomodation.

Day 6 - SIGHISOARA - SINAIA - TARGOVISTE
After breakfast, departure to Sinaia to visit Sinaia Monastery and the fabulous Peles Castle (former summer residence of the Royal Family). Arrival in Targoviste, dinner and accomodation.

Day 7 - TARGOVISTE - BUCHAREST
Breakfast, followed by a city tour of Targoviste, old capital of Valachia. Visit the ruins of the Princely Court and Chindia Watch Tower (symbol of the old fortress, built in the reign time of Vlad the Impaler). Departure to Bucharest.
